Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Aug 26, 2008 9:27 am A bit of background info here: we're doing a cheapie kitchen reno on our 60's weatherboard cottage. We bought 3/4 of the kitchen second hand off ebay complete with appliances, had granite benchtops but they were wrong fit for our house. Kitchen is 2 pac poly in antique white. Now i am trying to organise additional cupboards, benchtops, kickers, end panels in DIY flatpack form. There are a few companies locally that will colour match for us but i am a little clueless with planning and making sure i have absolutely everything we will need ordered at once. So here's a list of questions....(so far)
On one side of my new kitchen plan i have my fridge up against a part wall and on its other side is a 60cm deep pull out pantry which will be forward set to match the depth of the fridge cavity. 1. What then is the general depth of a fridge cavity? 2. do i have a full end panel made between the fridge and the pantry and then between the pantry and the next lot of base and wall cupboards? 3. The dishwasher is going at the end of another side of cupboards next to the sink - my dishwasher dimensions are 600 wide x 580 deep x 800 high, base cabinets with kickers are 880 high, so is it possible, and would you recommend me ordering a face plate to hide the 8cm gap which will be above the dishwasher? Thanks in advance Re: End panels 2Aug 26, 2008 7:47 pm Rene A bit of background info here: we're doing a cheapie kitchen reno on our 60's weatherboard cottage. Thanks in advance 1) fridge cavity 600 deep 2) End panels on each side of the pantry required 3) No filler required, most dishwashers have adjustable feet and drop down filler in front of it, wind the dishwasher up til it's snug up to the underside of the benchtop. NB carefull about steam coming out of dishwasher when door is opened this will damage the underside of your benchtop Best Price Wardrobes Sliding door robes | Walk in robes Deco panel | Mirror | Melamine 26 to 28 Cottage lane Hackham M: 0402 927 376 http://www.bestpricewardrobes.com.au Trade welcome Re: End panels 3Sep 09, 2008 2:38 pm Good luck it is tricky with odd cabinets. I have ordered some through a company called cabinets on demand - www.cabinetsondemand.com.au - You can customise height, width and depth and order end panels as well. All prices are on line as well as delivery - they are very reasonable. I live in Brisbane and 400kg of cabinets are costing about $300 to deliver from ACT factory. The online quote for freight was double this amount so it is not accurate as they will source a true price for you before you confirm and pay.
Good Luck Minimum overhang into gutter must be 50mm, turn down tool should not split the sheet. it seems wrong tool for the profile was used, the flashing cannot slope back.
