Has anyone removed laminate flooring skirting.

Has anyone pulled up the laminate floorboard skirting before? In the picture below, this is a fridge space. That extra 30mm would give us a lot more options with a new fridge. I obviously don't wish to damage the boards. The white skirting boards are fine to stay, just the wooden ones.

It will look unfinished underneath the beading, but since it is in the fridge cavity, it might not bother you.
Just rip it out, you wont see it behind the fridge

Do you know if its hard to get off? Assuming it's glued down.

No glue, just a few little nails.

Get a chisel under it and lever it up. Very easy

Definitely won't be glued, as CEK said, chisel under and pull. Keep off cut. Can come in handy if you need to fill in any spots particularly if fridge doesn't cover the whole wall.
