Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 24, 2018 6:20 am Hi All, What do you think of the quality of the Clarendon kitchen cupboards? We got shark edges on all cupboards though the finish at the top is rough and not what we were expecting. Anyone else have a similar experience with their kitchen cupboards? Re: Kitchen Quality 2May 28, 2018 2:27 pm My wife and I built with a spec builder 5 years ago, we looked at almost every larger builder and we were not impressed with the quality of the internal fit out. The quality and attention to detail left a lot to be desired. In the end we used Wincrest homes who built to lock up and I did the full internal fit out myself. Do you have any photos of the problem areas> Cutting Edge Kitchens and Cabinet Making http://cuttingedgekitchens.net.au http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cutting-Edge-Kitchens/290484196676 Mobile : 0419 430 575 PH: 9452 4772 Fax :9452 4772 cuttingedgekitchens@outlook.com Re: Kitchen Quality 3Jun 10, 2018 6:59 pm MDF doors or polyurethane painted? Applying shark nose onto MDF doors and hand edging the shark nose profile by hand requires plenty of patience. If so I'd be interested to know if the used 0.5mm which edge tape instead of the standard 1mm thick. Re: Kitchen Quality 4Jun 12, 2018 3:26 pm Choppy182 MDF doors or polyurethane painted? I think sharknose and laminate its just asking for problems Cutting Edge Kitchens and Cabinet Making http://cuttingedgekitchens.net.au http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cutting-Edge-Kitchens/290484196676 Mobile : 0419 430 575 PH: 9452 4772 Fax :9452 4772 cuttingedgekitchens@outlook.com Re: Kitchen Quality 6Jul 03, 2018 8:49 pm CuttingEdgeKitchens Choppy182 MDF doors or polyurethane painted? Yes I know there are machines that do it but the thin piece of edging at the top can get damaged easily. Looks good. The joiner has come back with a quote of close to 5k. I think we are going to not do it. Attaching panelling is something they are dead… 11 10083 The gap can be adjusted so it's tighter. You can definitely set up corner cabinets to have the same gap as standard doors. 2 8583 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 3664 |
