Hi Guys,
Just had the splashback tiles installed in my new house, and noticed that the tiler had installed them incorrectly. They are a hexagonal mosaic tile, and the floor plans stated to install them with the points going side to side and the flat edges top and bottom. The tiler didn't read the plans and installed them the other way. I notified my supervisor and he said he would see what he can do.
I went past the house a few days later and noticed the tiles had been corrected. I managed to get in and decided to have a closer look, and noticed the tiler and re-tiled the splashback over the original job. He's obviously done this to avoid ripping out the old tiles and risk damaging the plaster. I'm yet to notify my supervisor, but I'm wondering if this is an issue and something I should ask to be changed?
