Are there other options? Depends on the size of the kitchen but we were quoted about 3K for an upgrade to poly. cabinets. No, as far as I am aware there is no join which is why a lot of ppl like them. There is laminate sheen which is better than vinyl wrap IMO - doesn't peel with heat as per previous post. We used Amerind products and their gloss laminate has turned out great. Depends what you are after.
