So on the theme of a complete cheap kitchen reno - i have taken a list of what additional cupboards and doors we need made up to a local DIY place. I am after 6 aluminium framed (about 23mm frame) frosted glass or glass lookalike doors to go on overhead cupboards..... has anyone used doors that instead of glass is made of something like perspex and if so, what do you think of it?
I'm just trying to cut costs and thought maybe that perspex or something might be cheaper than either a) frosted glass or b) getting cupboard doors colour matched to our existing 2 pac poly base cupboards. Of course i need the doors non standard sizes or else i could have just gone to bunnings and bought their frosted glass doors for $70 each.....
Thanks again in advance.
