We're re-doing the flooring in our kitchen and have been looking at all the different options. One that we've seen is Novocore which has cork acoustic backing built in and it's supposed to be 100% waterproof. The sales guy said you don't need any underlay or glue to put this stuff in. You just lay it and it clicks together and you're done. This all sounds really easy to install! But whenever it's too easy, there's usually a catch.
What are the downsides to using this stuff?
Has anyone used this stuff before that could give us some real world feedback? Should we stay away from it? Or are there better brands or materials to get (I've seen Laminae at Bunnings, which looks similar)?
