Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: How can I make Pantry look better 15Jun 16, 2017 8:07 pm The cooktop is on an internal wall, the one the door would need to open into. It goes up the cavity into the roof space then across towards the hotwater heater and back to the meter. But that was kind of the point I was making to the builder, there is no shortage of space, so could have had the stud wall which the pipe and power goes through and then put in a second wall for the cavity. It wouldn't have looked silly either because the other side of the kitchen has an extra thick wall too because there is a steel beam in the cavity. Anyway all a bit late now, not going to redo the cupboards to fit a door in.
