We would like to get an underbench sink in our stone kitchen bench tops(one of the man made stones, essa ,caeser) but we have been told by a cabinet maker that those stones can chip on the inside edges if plates or utensils hit them hard enough. Like anything there would always be the possibility of something happening to it, but I thought the plates would break before it would chip the Caeserstone. We had the Oliveri Monet undermount sink with our Caeserstone in our first build and it does look great. I have seen quite a few in display homes lately. I haven't been told once that the egdes would chip.
