Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Nov 25, 2016 11:34 am We bought an old house 12 months ago and the kitchen is just "functionable". Recently a friend of mine bought a house that he is demolishing. He has a brand new kitchen there. I was thinking/planning of getting that kitchen to our place and replace our existing one. Questions: 1. Is this possible? 2. has anyone done this? 3. My handyman skills are on the south side of zero, so I will need a lot of help. Is this done by handymen or is it kitchen suppliers who I should engage? Thanks for help!! Re: Kitchen Relocation 2Nov 25, 2016 4:16 pm Yes it can be done but its a big job. Kitchen suppliers would not do this job at all. They supply and fit there own kitchens. If you cant do it you should look for a handyman. You can definitely set up corner cabinets to have the same gap as standard doors. 2 8587 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 3664 |
