Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Aug 08, 2008 1:00 pm We would like opinions on our kitchen colour selections - we are still trying to decided on splashback colours.
The colours we have selected so far are: BENCHTOP - C/Stone 'Ivory' CUPBOARDS - Parbury Wilsonart 'Pearl Dust' DRAWERS - Parbury Wilsonart 'Pearl Dust' FLOORING - Bamboo flooring 'coffee' We are trying to decide between Decoglaze's 'Zoom Red' and Dulux 'Red Box' - what do you think? We have a very large open plan kitchen that overlooks the alfresco/pool area and the dining area - it has a large island bench in the middle but not much of a splashback area - our splashback area will look pretty much exactly like the attached picture on the decoglaze website. I will just say that colours have a tendency to look different in varying lighting conditions So if the colour you are after is piller box red for instance, dont consider a burgandy colour as this has pink in it and when light hits it, seems to look pink-red. This is just something that i say to people when looking at kitchens in showrooms - looks great until you get it home!! Kitchens are like finger prints, no two are ever the same!!
