Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Laminates that replicate a stone finish 34Aug 24, 2008 2:18 pm I'm going for Quantum Quartz benchtops in the kitchen in Coral Reef (with Laminex flint finish Moleskin cabinets). Also putting a new cupboard in the adjacent laundry - a bit decandent to have QQ there so came across a Laminex Sqaureform benchtop colour called Sand Pebble in natural finish. Its a perfect match for the QQ Coral Reef - I had a sample square on a larger piece of QQ and you couldn't pick the difference. After reading this thread, my only concern is that this will be durable enough for washing baskets, exposure to washing chemicals etc. Cheers Aquagal (looking forward to life after renos) Generally, the texture that you listed will have a 2mm size stone chip in it which is dragged with float to give the lines Any patch work needs to be 2mm less than face… 2 1818 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9559 4 14407 |
