The kitchen man suggest I move the microwave into the bench of the walk in pantry. This will allow me to move the steam oven up and the oven up. What do all kitchen. Also as we required the basic functions of a microwave, rather than pay into the 4 figures for a built in/browning functions etc a cheap counter top one is sufficient. Re: Would you put your microwave in the walk in pantry bench 3Sep 07, 2016 5:52 am We use our microwave often. We had the microwave in the walk in pantry in our old house & this wasn't a problem. I prefer it there since I have it at a good height as opposed to the way down low position on the island bench it would've gone in had we gone with the default. Re: Would you put your microwave in the walk in pantry bench 5Sep 07, 2016 12:00 pm Personally I don't understand the issue with ovens under bench. Almost all professional ovens in restaurants are below bench and are used far more often then home ovens. If you already have an oven below bench I would leave the other one there too. I have my oven below bench and it has never worried me once. But in answer to your question I don't see it as a problem to have the microwave in your pantry. We have our microwave in our laundry as we don't use it that much. My mother uses the oven a lot when she is over so I'll just the move the whole unit up, no move the microwave in the pantry. Whatever you think will work for you. I personally wouldn't want to squat right down to get something out that might be a bit awkward if it was really hot. Iām loving the potential versatility and practicality of a bench seat in a shower. Anyone had one of these done recently? Not sure if they are straight forward and easy… 0 763 Thanks mate.
