I've been doing some thinking, as nothing had really been jumping out at me (or my DH) in regards to a good layout. I've realised it was leaving the laundry in the same place that was making everything else 'difficult'. So by moving the laundry to where the bathroom is at the moment (so the plumbing is there - also means we can leave the existing toilet) it gives more freedom to make the kitchen & meals area bigger, with plenty of room for a galley kitchen. Anyway, here' the latest house plan that I've come up with... I think this is it Now just to get some firm quotes from a few builders (if it's going to be too expensive then we'll be revisiting the knock down & rebuild option).
