Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Oct 22, 2015 8:31 am If you look at pics below you can see bench sample looks different but they are the same colour we are using for our bench tops. I just don't know what I'm going to get as the display bench we saw in this colour was in gloss and looked more like the online pic below (2nd pic) and we are having matt. The sample in the first pic is matt I guess? Do matt and gloss benchtops look totally different? I'm confused with what colour grey we are actually going to get! http://i667.photobucket.com/albums/vv34/beckles5000/Tiles_zpssib2myvy.jpg http://i667.photobucket.com/albums/vv34/beckles5000/Oiled%20Soapstone_zpsl0sxopzb.jpg Re: Matt and gloss benchtops question 2Oct 24, 2015 9:45 pm I can see your sample card does match that bottom photo, but I can't for the life of me matching that large gloss sample behind the sample card - those look completely different. I am having one bench in matt in my laundry and gloss in the bathrooms and they look the same in the samples - only difference is the shine - it really shouldn't look much different. I would be expecting the see that bottom photo when installed myself. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Matt and gloss benchtops question 3Oct 26, 2015 8:18 pm These are our bathroom tiles. The large grey one was picked on the basis the benches will be the darker colour. Hence my worry! If it turns out to be more lighter like in 2nd pic above will they go? http://i667.photobucket.com/albums/vv34/beckles5000/Tiles2_zpsf803bl1g.jpg Re: Matt and gloss benchtops question 6Nov 17, 2015 1:20 pm Matt and gloss in the same colour will always look different as they reflect light totally differently.
