Is there a 'push to open with soft close drawer runners available besides the electrical units?
I am sure I saw them somewhere, but now I am thinking I must have dreamt it

With soft close, as you open the drawer you load the mechanism ready to pull the drawer closed. With P2O you load the mechanism as you close the drawer ready to open it. Electric is the only option if you want it both ways. Blum released a mechanism some time ago called a "tip on for Tandembox drawers". It's better to have a qualified cabinetmaker or kitchen company fit these mechanisms. I have spoken with my cabinet maker and he contacted his Blum rep and he was told that the new runners that push to open and have soft close will be available in 6 to 12 months. He said that they were going to be quite expensive also. I have decided to go with the Servo drive, which is what I wanted all along, but just thought that they were too expensive. DH said that it's silly to pay out all this money for a new kitchen and then regret not having the drawers opening the way I want them to. Re: Push to open with soft close for drawer runners 5Aug 19, 2015 9:55 am Hi Kitchenpro Thanks for linking those. I had always assumed tip on was Blums push to open. That's an interesting mechanism. Will certainly add to the cost of a kitchen but if you want both features I guess it may be worth it.
