Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Aug 28, 2015 1:53 pm Hi I am tossing between Laminex Colourtech (2pac) in Moleskin and 2pac in Dulux White duck half. Obviously the later is more expensive. Does anyone know if there is any difference in quality or the appearance of the finished product? For instance, is it possible that the Laminex Colourtech will have different colour than the sample they gave us? Is it glossier, etc etc? Please help. Thanks Re: Laminex Colourtech (2pac) vs 2pac in Dulux colour 2Aug 28, 2015 4:03 pm boysenberry2014 Hi I am tossing between Laminex Colourtech (2pac) in Moleskin and 2pac in Dulux White duck half. For me the Laminex product would be more expensive. If they are both 2pac then they are the same thing! Maybe our builder may have special discount with Laminex. I also think it's because Laminex has preset colours, so they can just make it in bulk? While the dulux coloured 2pac will be more "custom" since it's less likely people order the same colour. I have never seen the colourtech one in person so I am just wondering if there is any difference in appearance, for example if the colourtech gloss one would be much more glossier, etc etc. Re: Laminex Colourtech (2pac) vs 2pac in Dulux colour 4Aug 28, 2015 7:59 pm It's just tinted as in paint, so most places would buy in big volume ,biggest difference would just be paint quality like anything else there's cheap paint and good paint etc. Re: Laminex Colourtech (2pac) vs 2pac in Dulux colour 5Aug 30, 2015 9:09 am 2 Pac comes in matt, satin, semi gloss and gloss. If you order gloss in either product you will get gloss. No difference in quality as long as both are 2 pac!
