Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jul 17, 2015 7:33 pm Am contemplating the Polytec Createc in Gloss Alabaster for our kitchen but am just wondering if anyone else has noticed a vast color difference between Createc Gloss and Melamine Sheen? I have samples of both and the Createc looks very yellow, particularly noticeable in the off-white colors like Alabaster, Porcelain and Parchment. Has anyone used Createc? What color and how have you found it? Re: Polytec - Createc Gloss vs Melamine Sheen 2Jul 18, 2015 5:26 pm They are both totally different products made from different materials. It stands to reason that there would be a slight colour difference. But unless you are using both product side by side it doesn't really matter. Both products are great, createc is better. Hi I really struggle to google what is the technological difference between this products. Shame on Polytec on their site no such information at all. I have found only that Createc has MR MDF base (moisture resistant), and even what "MR" stands for I had to google, because no information on their side. So what is the difference? And what about other products in Polytec "Evolution" range (ravine and legato)? Melamine sheen is a bottom end product that looks good, it is a basic melamine board. Createc is a top end product with a high gloss surface. What the surface is made from I am not sure. They are at different ends of the quality/price range! Thank you for price guide. We decided to select profiled doors + 4pac over them (not termolaminated), upgrade from sheen is $4000.
