Some people have drainer groves cut in their stone top. Drainer groves in stone are costly and a waste of time and money in my opinion. We have a draining rack that has a water collection tray under it. Works perfectly. We keep it under the sink when not using it. Glad it works for you. We prefer our rack as it holds heaps of washing up and collects the water without the need to dry a mat. The sink is right beside it so no issue to tip the collected water out.
