Can public buy direct from ceaserstone? Re: Price difference between Standard Caesarstone and Supern 5May 25, 2015 10:02 am MrBee I've experienced 3x as well. What's the mark up on this stuff? Are you saying 35% is your price to wholesalers? Can public buy direct from ceaserstone? Caesarstone doesn't actually have a recommended markup and we like to see retailers maintain the affordability of our wholesale price structure, but ultimately the price is at the discretion of the kitchen retailer or stonemason. Sorry guys I just wanted to clarify the price range. Is there a ballpark per square metre rate for the standard range, that i can use? This is to estimate how much my builder would charge me for the Calacatta Nuvo which is a Supernatural stone!! Cheers. I apologise but being a first time build customer, I am perplexed by these questions!! Yes that might be how much more you charge the stone masons but they are passing it along to the final customer at a much higher price! Cheers. I apologise but being a first time build customer, I am perplexed by these questions!! A very ballpark price would be roughly $500/m2 installed for our Standard range. This assumes a very basic install with standard edge profiles and so on. For Supernatural Ultra however we would quote $1200/m2 as not only is there a premium for the stone itself, but these designs also typically require more meticulous fabrication methods such as mitred edge profiles. Again, pricing is ultimately at the discretion of your kitchen company or stonemason and it is certainly worth obtaining a few quotes if you can. EDIT: I've just realised there might be some confusion regarding our product categories. Calacatta Nuvo and the new Statuario Nuvo are part of the Supernatural Ultra range which sits above Supernatural. Re: Price difference between Standard Caesarstone and Supern 11Jun 21, 2015 11:12 pm After reading this and some other threads re stone benchtops, I'm beginning to wonder if our sales consultant might be a bit out with his suggestion of $6K to upgrade. I will have a u shaped kitchen with lengths totaling 5.88 m2, comprising of 3.8m x .6 (with a double sink) 2.8m x .6 (with 900mm freestanding oven) and "breakfast bar" of 1.8m by .9 - I don't necessarily need a waterfall on the breakfast bar and a choice from the basic range say of caesrstone (eg French Nougat)... does $6k sound too steep??

I think the basic Caesarstone is about 110$ per sq metre. And deluxe is about 100% more And the supernatural range is 200% over the basic. Stone masons put a mark up and labour on top of that and they all charge differently! I might have to ring around a few places. If its a ball park figure then I am happy to pay but if its obviously on the higher side I would like to be able to have reason to negotiate the price or maybe get someone different altogether to do over handover. Exactly!! Most volume builders charge there stone tops out at 1.5 - 2 x what I charge and they are all different. Some volume builders will let you deal directly with the kitchen company for upgrades and some most put the exorbitant mark up on first!!
