My sister wants me to modernise her kitchen by replacing the doors and panels. Relativly easy have done it before. However my sister wants a handless look, so was thinking of using Polytec bevel edged doors, which I think they have just released.
Have a question that cannot find the answer to on the net, what gap should I allow between the top of the door and the underside of the bench top? Should the gap between drawers be the same or different?
Also should the panel that will be visible behind be made of the same material as the doors or will the carcass white suffice bearing in mind the doors will be white anyway, just a different level of gloss.
PS if in the end she goes with handles using standard doors, what size gap would you leave as a shadow line?
