We deliberately chose a gas oven as we are off-grid and wanted to avoid too many electrical appliances. When choosing our appliance we were very limited as there are not too many gas ovens around (and almost no gas wall/under bench ovens). We tossed up between Ilve and Glem and in the end chose Glem due to the cost. We have been using it for nearly three years and love it, although it may take slightly longer to cook things they come out more moist then an electric oven.
