Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Mar 09, 2015 3:13 pm Hello everybody, Its my first post, except for the intro thread. I am impressed with the wealth of information on this forum. I have had a new kitchen installed......well its partially installed because between the kitchen company and the installer its been a nightmare. When the old kitchen was pulled out, some of the gyprock behind the kitchen cabinets was damaged. This was plugged with sheets but was not stopped along the joins before the kitchen cabinets went back in. I am concerned as there is no longer an impermeable barrier between the inside and the outside. The house is brick veneer. Am I worried about nothing, or should this really be fixed. The gaps would be ~5mm at most. Regards Graham and Kathy Regards Graham and Kathy Owners of 2.5 acres of Paradise.......now working towards the house!
