Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 09, 2014 1:37 pm my provisions are in a 60cm wide tall cabinet with internal drawers. One low drawer 10cm high is very close to the drawer above. I would like to move the drawer above a bit higher up to increase the gap to the small 10cm high drawer. Question: without specialised BLUM equipment, are we able to drill new holes with our tools without messing it all up?? You just need to make sure both sets of holes are at the same height. Measure up or down from a fixed shelf or the base. Once you have the same heights you need to square a line back, then mark out the hole spacings. I'm pretty sure the first hole is 37mm back from the front edge (it is with hettich) and then spaces back dependant on the size of runner used. Just copy the spacings of the existing holes. The existing fixings should be euro screws. They are a funny fat little screw with a blunt end. If they are, you need to drill 5mm holes. Then simply screw the runners back in and put the drawer back on the runner, technically they are posi-drive heads but a Philips head screw driver will work. If you only want to lift the drawer a little bit sometimes there are 2 rows of holes on the runners. You can simply use the existing holes in the carcass but lift the runners up to the lower holes raising the runners up.
