Re: Glass splashback cleaning 5May 15, 2014 4:55 pm I use a quick spray of standard spray and wipe to cut through the fat/grease and then a final spray of windex to give a streak free look. Windex wont remove the grease well at all! Before using the finishing microfibre cloth make sure there is no oil or grease on glass, you can also just use hot soapy water to clean first than use metho mixture. I have been using stainless steel and I am about to put in glass splash backs for my new kitchen but am worried about the cleaning aspect. Advice appreciated. I either use an enjo cloth with a bit of water or first wipe down with a sponge and detergent and then wipe dry with the enjo. No streaks. I hated keeping sstainless steel streak free. To take grease off then green micro fibre cloth to dry . But im sure sabco range at bunnings would do the same . Im guess the less water applied the less streaks you will get .
