The original flick mixer in the kitchen started leaking. Grub screw wouldn't undo so went to Bunnings to get a replacement $28 flick mixer.
Seems to be the same size at the base as the original, but when I look at it from underneath I can see the o-ring and no matter how I re-adjust the placement, the o-ring will be partly visible. I assume the o-ring should be fully making contact on the top of the sink.
My questions:
are the flickmixers different diameter sizes depending on the cartridge size?
is there a standard sink hole diameter and should the flickmixer (35 or 40 mm) be purchased according to that diameter?
Also, when I mention 35 or 40mm, I mean the cartridge size as that appears to be the way of differentiating the two sizes available.
