Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Mar 09, 2014 4:40 pm We built a AVJ project home just under 2 years ago and when deciding on internal colours I was really nervous (not great with that sort of thing) so just went with same as displayed. During the build I realised I wanted lighter colours (mainly the cupboards) but was too late. They longer I am in the house the more it bugs me that the kitchen that we spent a lot on (90cm free stand cooker, polyurethane cabinets and ceasarstone) is dark and not as appealing as I would have liked.
My colours are: Cupboards - laminate colour raw linen (wish wish wish I had gone with parchment) Ceasarstone - ivory Walls - wattyl new pale cream Flooring - alto beige sealed porcelain tiles So all warm colours Our ceilings are only 2.5m and we only have the basic lighting at this stage, What are my best items to lighten/brighten/bring to life the space that will still go with the cupboards and caesarstone (as I fear that will be way too expensive to change)?
