Gloss is easier to clean oil off. They are also not flat but aren't too bad too scrub. I have them on my shower floor and love them! I recently designed a kitchen for a sandstone house and we took a hi res shot of the sandstone outside then did the splashback in that,should come up a treat! I quite like the look of the timber look tiles and have suggested it to a number of my clients who go with white cabs and white stone benchtop to liven their kitchen up a bit *sigh* but none have gone ahead with my suggestion yet.
