Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 07, 2014 8:52 pm Was advised that Goldline gas cooktops were more robust and better for wok cooking. Any views on this would be appreciated. Also looking to combine a single gas cooktop with ceramic cooktop and could only find Electrolux with matching finish and size. Any other suggestions appreciated Re: Goldline or Electrolux cooktop 2Feb 07, 2014 9:35 pm hi the goldline are a Australian made cooktop on a budget and they have good heat for wok cooking. Re: Goldline or Electrolux cooktop 3Feb 07, 2014 9:46 pm highland and siemans have gas with the ceramic base, is that what you mean or are you looking at having one gas burner and three ceramic burners? in that case look at Siemans wok burner model number ER326AB70P, 22mj heat and is 30 cm. it also has a matching 3 ring 60cm induction cooktop that is made for the wok burners to sit next to it model number EH675MD21E Re: Goldline or Electrolux cooktop 4Feb 08, 2014 7:07 pm Thanks for the comments, did some searching today and looks like we will go for the Electrolux Gas single wok burner and instal alongside the Electrolux induction with same depth and finish. Gives the wife options for her cooking. Re: Goldline or Electrolux cooktop 6Feb 10, 2014 8:10 pm Not really, can't cook to save my life, but the wife is a great cook and loves to try new menus. Forgot to mention that was shown new induction cooktop with a bowl shape for the wok. Has anyone used and can comment v. gas burner? My daughter and son in law are about to start building, they are having a 600mm induction cook top and 900mm oven. It's personal preferance 5 10827 |
