Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jan 02, 2014 8:15 pm Hi All, Im looking at buying a few 2nd hand pieces of Granite which has been ripped out of a kitchen. It has been broken when taken out, i plan to join these together to make an outdoor BBQ kitchen. As the centre was broken when trying to remove from the kitchen (originally a 3500mm long bench), what is a rough cost for someone to cut these to size? They are 2 pieces of around 1700mm x 500mm, just looking to cut off the break so effectively cut to 1500mm. Also it is glued back up to particle board (melamine?) what is the best way to remove this off the slab without damaging it? Would it need to be removed in order to cut the granite?
