Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Nov 17, 2013 5:32 pm Have got twin pack kitchen and vanities - an off white with a slight metallic fleck in it. They are all going yellow and they have only just been installed...Is this supposed to happen? I thought it would be stable, but the kitchen company are saying it is the sunlight.... any thoughts... Can you re spray twin pack on top of twin pack - or will I have to get new doors completely? Re: twin pack finish going yellow 3Nov 18, 2013 7:15 am Two pack finishes don't yellow. Thanks for the info...Is there anyway by looking at it that we would know if it is twin pack or single pac? and can it be re-sprayed over the finish with a new twin pac? Thanks Re: twin pack finish going yellow 5Nov 18, 2013 1:19 pm chatterbox [ Thanks for the info...Is there anyway by looking at it that we would know if it is twin pack or single pac? and can it be re-sprayed over the finish with a new twin pac? Thanks Not easily. Yes it can be resprayed. You would be best taking a sample piece to a spray painter for an opinion. Like yours it went really yellow within just a few weeks. We were initially told it was caused by too much light. It took some pushing but eventually all the doors were resprayed. If there has been any yellowing since then it is insignificant. Same amount of sunlight! There was a problem with the first paint job, pure and simple. Don't get fobbed off with the "light" excuse. They are replacing them for the second time now because of the yellowing. Though ours is just a gloss white All our doors yellwed at differing rates so it could not be sunlight. (our kitchen doesn't even get direct sunlight). Cheers Sandra Hi guys, I want to do some floor levelling before laying the planks and am considering doing it with self-levelling or yellow tongue PB board. I am wondering which one… 0 6531 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
