I believe if you want to do pressed tin you need to consider a baked automotive spray paint/similar because when you clean it you'll buff the paint off. I believe the same occurs if you don't paint it - you will get buffed/scratched tin.
Laminam is a Laminex product similar to Metalline (same concept) - a gigantic single 3mX1m tile effectively and we were told a rough estimate was $300/tile by the kitchen supply place but then when he quoted the builder he quoted it at $1000/tile so.... the price has changed? Disappointed because I didn't want grout lines either and this was the perfect solution, but it's too expensive now.
We're just doing tiles, and I'll replace/change them later - for the small area it is it really isn't that expensive to change it later, and because it's not a water retaining area you don't need to have a super qualified person change them - a handyman who knows how could do it or you could do it yourself (I'm the least tradie person and I've done a splashback - wasn't easy because I'm not a skilled anything at all but it wasn't horrid).
