I would imagine there would eventully get lots of dirty hand marks and spills down the doors? White would still have to be one of the most common colours that kitchens are supplied in today. Any surface will show drips and runs if the light is right - I see this as a reminder that the cupboard doors need to be wiped...but then I'm not a fan of hiding dirt... As stonecutter said, it will be harder to keep the shine - this will also depend on the quality of vinyl or two pack you end up choosing. It is for this reason that I often suggest to clients with children that they consider a matt paint or even better a matt colourboard finish in preference to high gloss - more durable and functional for the operating conditions.
