Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Aug 20, 2013 9:37 am Hi all, I'm new here so go easy on me I need to repaint an old kitchen. The cupboards are currently a very pale pink, with pink/brown bench tops and a dark burgundy feature wall. The other walls are yellow. We are keeping the cupboards etc and just want to repaint... what kind of colour scheme will suit this?? Ideally it would be something we could incorporate throughout the house... i don't want a pink house though! I'll try to upload some pics... http://s1300.photobucket.com/user/snaph ... eno%20Pics Re: Repainting a pink kitchen?? 2Aug 20, 2013 10:02 am We had similar tiles in our bathroom, and bright pink walls. We painted the walls white. It looks so much better! Re: Repainting a pink kitchen?? 3Aug 20, 2013 10:05 am Keep it simple - off whites are good. Clean and tight. Keep the same "look" throughout the house. Fads are gone almost the same time they arrive. Simple colours will match almost all furniture and also have the house looking good. Re: Repainting a pink kitchen?? 4Aug 31, 2013 5:51 pm I would suggest a modern design kitchen with a touch of black/white classy look. An Island in the middle of the kitchen will also look great. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6636 2 4686 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7400 |
