I'll throw another vote Scanpan's way.
I have been using my saucepans, huge soup pot and frying pan for about three years. I love them. I have only used them on gas so that might colour my experience but I think they hold up extremely well - and on the odd occasion when I forget about the cooking I can scrub off the burnt bits with steel wool and not worry about wrecking the pots. You can throw anything at them - not like supposedly high-end pots I've had before that were apparently too delicate to put through the dishwasher.
They're also seriously cheap if you go to somewhere like Victoria's Basement or Peter's of Kensington (for Sydney people) in the EOFY and Boxing Day sales.
My only experience of Circulon was awful - it was a frying pan and every meal I ate from it came with a teflon garnish - but I should say I inherited that one in a sharehouse so god knows how old it was or what terrible things had been done to it by previous owners.
