Yes Polytec Createc is prefinished board but it is basically the same as ultraglaze just made by a different company! I would be surprised if they didn't sting you just as badly for Createc. The 9K change to the laundry shouldn't add any more than $3000-4000. They are just ripping you off. It would cost you less to make they changes after handover! For a few $K more than your $25K, we got our kitchen, laundry and ensuite done in 30mm Caesarstone with CS splashbacks (kitchen bench 3.1m x 600mm, island bench 3.1x 1.5m, laundry 2m x 600mm, ensuite 2.4m x 500mm). Cupboards above the kitchen bench, drawers below, book-ended with a niche for the fridge one side, and the tower for the ovens (cupboards above, drawers under) as well as 1m wide full height pantry unit (pull out drawers) on the other, plus another similar sized pantry unit, the island having drawers on one side, cupboards on the other, laundry niches for washer and dryer plus an under-sink cupboard, ensuite with 2 cupboards and 5 drawers, all in polyurethane with either push open for drawers and cupboards or soft close for the overhead cupboards. It's possible but a soak well is usually much larger. Your 'soak well' only holds 424 litres when full. What is your soil type?
