Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 30, 2008 9:47 pm Hi, I have been anonymously stalking this forum for a few months now in preparation for our home renovation in Canberra (Hi Michelle ). Firstly i have been overwhelmed by how supportive and generous you all are with your information and opinions. So be gentle with me - i know nothing!
We are only in the design stage of our renovation and are currently choosing our appliances. I had finally decided on the 90cm bosch free standing electric/gas range but a salesman in another store today really sold me on the Lofra verison. I've never heard of them before. Anyone with any experiences? opinions? Thanks Re: Newbie - anyone know about Lofra freestanding range 2Apr 30, 2008 11:25 pm Welcome Melberra,
I've never heard of them, but I'm about to buy my stove in th next month so I'm interested to hear what you find out. Check the Meile thread in ktichens as well because there is some info on various stoves there too. Cheers Steve Re: Newbie - anyone know about Lofra freestanding range 3May 01, 2008 3:48 pm Not sure how they are in real life but they sure look nice. We looked at them at our local Good Guys store - picked up a brochure to read all about them. They are made in Italy I think? We ended up buying a 110cm Falcon cooker - however only because it was a closing down auction and we got it for the same price as a Smeg. Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included.
