Hi everyone,
We've just renovated our kitchen and one of the very last things to finally be installed was the splash back.
We have white cabinets in Dulux Lexicon 1/4 strength, Caesarstone benchtop in White Snow, and had asked for the splashback to also be Dulux Lexicon 1/4. We paid extra for Starphire glass to ensure we got a true representation of the colour.
When the glazier came to measure up, he explained that the colour may not be identical as it may appear slightly different from cabinetry to glass. Of course we understand they are different materials so I didn't expect the hue to be exactly the same but I did expect it to be white.
However.... now the glass is installed, it doesn't look like the right colour at all. It seems to have a bluish-green tinge to it. Initially I thought that maybe it was the light, but have looked at the kitchen in all kinds of light over the last 4 days and it looks no different!
What should I do? Could it be possible that the glazier used the wrong colour - possibly full strength Lexicon instead of quarter?
Some pics below.. the cabinets are Dulux Lexicon 1/4, and the splashback should be the same colour.
Thanks for your help!
