As above we have two narrow drawers - the top one holding spices on their side next one down is foils and wraps then the next one down is positioned deliberately to allow taller items such as food mixer and blender and the bottom one holds baking food stuffs and other items. I'm still very undecided. I walked past a kitchen company (not ours!) on the weekend and went in and I saw a blind entry shelves only pantry that would be very similar dimensions to ours and it just looked tiny!!!! But then I also went through everything in our pantry and I definitely don't think the majority of it would suit drawers. So very confused ![]() Re: Drawers vs Shelves for Pantry 10Jun 04, 2013 10:57 pm Quote: they tell me at Blum that I'd fit a lot more in Technically you can fit more on a straight shelf than a drawer. with a drawer you lose a bit of space at the sides and back. But if you're filling it with lots of smallish things - like tins of food - a drawer means you can see and reach the things at the middle and back without knocking things off the shelf.
