Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 04, 2013 10:36 am Good morning all I am narrowing down the selections for our new kitchen - but would like some opinons now on handles please. Our kitchen is going to be most likely a vivid white satin polyurethane - in a hamptons / toned down provincial style. (will have the mantle and cuboards either side of a 110cm Falcon SS oven the colours of the room are a Taubmans "torte" which is a mid beige (house of beige hubby calls it LOL) we will have a stainless fridge (french door) and a SS dishwasher My dilema is the handles - I originally thought I would just do black - but I am leaning towards pewter The MarinaIsles ones with porcelain in them are nice - but would work out TOO expensive unfortnately If I go with all "knobs" even on drawers - does this look OK - or should I do a fixed handle (don't like the drop down ones) on the drawers and a knob on the cupboard?? ........... it is doing my head in - I would some pics if anyone has done something similiar Building the "Symphony Grande" with Masterton Homes If I ever remember to update it - check out my blog http://fernadell.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Kitchen cupboard & drawers - what type of handle? 2May 05, 2013 8:53 am All knobs even on drawers will look perfectly fine. Here is a pic of Katrina Chamber's new kitchen and she has gone knobs. Re: Kitchen cupboard & drawers - what type of handle? 3May 05, 2013 12:25 pm Thanks Tash - I had checked out Katrina's blog ages ago - forgot to look again Cheers - Sandy Building the "Symphony Grande" with Masterton Homes If I ever remember to update it - check out my blog http://fernadell.blogspot.com.au/ That's a bit of a vague question. Either cupboard size is fine. With no real advantage or disadvantage to either, apart from the fact that the 900 cabinet fits more into… 1 833 Black on light wood does look good. Not sure if it will be as long lasting as a steel finish? 6 6352 Get some long brass machine screws and bolt right through the gate and put brass acorn nuts and washers on the other side. It will never come off 1 9075 |
