a paper/computer kitchen design kit? I'd like to play around with the kitchen configuration because our design has a corner pantry, which I'm not sure I want. Any info will be appreciated.

I found this one to be reasonably useful in translating a 2D sketch into something DW could relate to:

It's specific to German products but I liked the variety of sinks, cabinets, colors that it provided:

It's freeware butyou need to subscribe to ZDnet which means you get a monthly newsletter...but you can always unsubscribe:

Two tips:

- Yes is "Ja" and No is "Nein", the save dialogue box reverts to German
- and cooktops are in special articles

You can also use the My Virtual Home software, which I found very user friendly. There are a few links on the forum on how to use it, tips & tricks etc..

That's a great result...must say my MVH icon is getting close to my Recycle Bin icon...finding it somewhat frustrating....I will prevail!

Took me a while to fine tune it & put everything where it needed to go.

Just need them to bring out the next version so I can do the landscaping.

Thanks for the suggestions. Sadly, those programs don't work on a Mac. I'll have to keep looking or revert to graph paper.

There is a web based one (OS independent) from a German kitchen manufacturer:

But I don't think you can print from it, and to save you need to register for an account (no cost as far as I can tell) but you may get "newsletters"...
