Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Mar 28, 2013 12:40 pm I have purchased the WM2190-6SP (1600 Isodrive motor) and aim to install the motor on the roof myself. The house has a colorbond roof and wooden beams, I have a couple of questions about installation, hopefully someone who has done a DIY install can help? - What kind of brackets did you use to secure the PVC pipe to the wooden roof beam? The motor is much heaveier than I expected, so I'm worried it will 'slip down' if using those clamp type brackets in shows in the manual. Don't the brackets need to be screwed to the PVC pipe? Also, if the clamp type brackets squeeze the pipe too much, won't it crack? - Does the motor need to be directly at least 5 meters away, or is this the minimum ducting length (i.e. ducting can be curved around to give 5 meters even though motor is say 1.5 meters away. Many Thanks That's a fantastic result! Happy you got it sorted out. cheers Simeon 6 8622 Assuming the structure of your cabinetry is good then I would DIY everything as follows: - replace your counter tops entirely, - replace all drawer runners with soft close… 1 4756 |
