At $300 bucks its a killer, anyone who thinks that their Villeroy and Bosh at $1800 bucks is worth it or better quality needs a reality check. Its a seriously huge sink from memory 640 deep and 860 wide (Relying on my memory...pffft) Were not going to undermount it. Were hoping to make a feature of it Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ For $30 bucks you can buy a groovy chopping board and a seperate stainless steel vegie strainer made for it from Ikea. If I may I will offer you my two cents worth on anyone who tries to charge you $1995 for a 316 Stainless Steel Butlers Sink(from the above Link). I was in China last April for the Canton Trade Fair. We did a tour of some stainless steel production facilities making similar products.(including toilets for prisons) The depth of the item(Butlers sink) would neccesitate some specialised tooling but its not a big deal, I would estimate the cost at perhaps $130 Dollars Australian. Thats not a bad mark-up is it ($130-$1995). Say I'm really wrong and it cost $200 Bucks to make, I think I still have a point. I was astonished when I saw that a typical price for 316 SS sinks(undermount) were close to a grand.................Two grand is madness, in my view it needs branded Dior to make any sense I did get a laugh a couple of months ago when a bloke was flogging his Domsjo on ebay for $450 Bucks as I recall.....very enterprising wasn't he.
