Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jan 29, 2013 10:17 pm Im about to get my laundry done and want some advice on whether to go vinyl wrap or laminate.i know hundreds of people have issues with vinyl wrap, I was one of them.my kitchen lasted about 4 years before it started peeling around the oven, cooktop, kettle and even the cutlery drawers.was installed in 2004 and now replaced with laminate Now doing the laundry I have the dilemma that vinyl wrap is more resistent to water damage and chipping on the edges or so I've been told.i know there is moisture resistant laminate but nothing's perfect.my mums laminate laundry doors and benchtops started peeling about 15 years in which is a good inning.I know vinyl wrap is a no no in kitchens but is one better than the other for wet area like a laundry.i will have a dryer so I imagine the room gets a little warm Thanks Re: Laundry-which doors vinyl vs laminate 2Jan 30, 2013 7:35 am It wouldnt be proper laminate on the doors.
