Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Sink facing window and not in island bench. 5Jan 13, 2013 4:07 am fmac Friends of ours have decided on two sinks in their kitchen, they have the main one under the window but have a single round sink to one end of the island. From spending many hours sat at the island and watch them cook they tend to use the small sink for food prep (washing vege before they cut them, which is done on the island) while the main sink is used for washing dishes. They do almost all of their food prep on the island so having the round sink to one end is very useful. Good idea...never thought about having a single round sink to one end of the island. I think I might consider that. Thanks guys for the feed back!! The warning is on the sticker on the door too.
