I'm not living in such an area, and when I have to sell the property, not a single person would give me a dollar extra for it. However, I would enjoy the tabs while I have them. everything that comes out of Switzerland, and that's a lot for household products, is very good. In terms of resale I agree completely. Same goes for most kitchen appliances and fittings, unless you sell within a year or 2 of doing a kitchen, no matter where you live. Some things are worth spending extra on and some are not. In my opinion and after years of dealing with taps that get wobbly, leaky, loose or have joints that build grime I figured a tap was worth putting some money into. Along with your fridge and your stove top it is probably the item in your kitchen that is going to be used 10+ times a day.
