Yes they are not that hard to remove. You might have trouble finiding someone to do the job. Most cabinet makers and kitchen companys wont do it unfortunately. Are they old and dated? Are they also laminate? The reason I ask is, I've been out to peoples homes that have done a 2 part facelift. First the benchtops, which then made the doors look dated, then they change the doors & panels. This being done in 2 different stages costs you $$$$$. It's always better to start with a blank canvase. Also you wont have much choice over the kitchen design, your stuck with the old layout. I know your only asking about your doors, but if you intend on changing anything else in the future, you will lose money. Re: Laminate converted to 2pac 6Sep 12, 2012 1:44 pm People change doors and bench tops on kitchens thinking that it will save them alot of money over doing a new kitchen. It doesnt!! The doors and the bench tops are the most expensive part of a kitchen. The white cabinets are cheap as chips. If you replace a bench top on an existing kitchen you still need a sparky and plumber to disconect and reconect and you will also need a new splash back.
