Quantum Quartz/ Caesarstone

Hi guys

Would love some help - originally when I had planned to build with M'con I had my heart set on Nova Aurora caesarstone benchtops in the kitchen with white laminex cupboards..

Now silly me thought all benchtops were caesarstone and was not aware there were other brands out there like Quantum Quartz :oops:

I have just found out PD use QQ as their brand, so I have done a quick search of their colours to try and find the best match to Nova Aurora (white with silver flecks of metal through it)

Can anyone who has experience with QQ recommend a similiar colour? The website pics make it hard to see...

Haywgl…….The closest to the Nova in Q/Quartz is either “Everest” or “Coral Reef”
But neither of theses have the silver fleck in them.

Thanks Michelle - that is a better site then the one I looked at - the Everest and Coral Ref are a little grey for what I want - I like the look of 'Turino' and 'Starlight White' - leaning more towards Turino as it has smaller chips which will make it look whiter than 'Starlight White' I think.

Would love to see them in an actual kitchen set up?

Is anyone aware of any good showrooms? For those building with PD are these on display at Hopeturn Interiors?

Belinda, sound silly but have you actually been told that PD WON'T use Caesarstone??? Maybe they might offer it as an upgrade?
Might be worth asking first???? Can't hurt???
Then you can get what you really want???

Good point P - No I haven't asked, i just assumed from reading everyones posts on here that is building with PD that they only used QQ. I'll ask at my next appointment - I just love those diamondy bits in Nova Aurora so much

Just thought I would bump this up to tell you guys what great customer service QQ has...

I emailed them and asked if they could send me samples of 3 of their benchtop colours yesterday and today I recieved them via courier....so fast!!

Looking at them I really like Starlight White as it has the same sparkle in it that Nova Aurora has - however I am not sure if it is in a large area it will look too grey - the Turino is also gorgeous - much more white but doesn't have the sparkles....

Leaning towards Starlight White - but would love to see them both in a large display

Glad to hear that you have found something in the QQ range Belinda!! That's pretty good service too!!!

Hopefully that's the one for you, then it's another item ticked off the list.

Ok so I have taken a photo on my webcam - not the best quality

The Starlight white is on the left of screen - you can see the sparkly bits in it better in real life - but one has appeared in the middle on the right side.

The Turino is on the right of screen.

DH and I think we have agreed - the Starlight white in the kitchen 40mm, and the Turino in bathrooms and ensuites 20mm.

Have you checked out the National Tiles display centre? I haven't been there myself but they seem to be a distributor of QQ so they probably have some larger benches on display.

I think they're located in Prahran.
