you are right, in the local magazines you will not see much at all due in the most part to lack of local demand. As I have stated, if you have something in mind all you need to do is take a picture to any good manufacturer and they will be able to quote to reproduce here. Most of the european product utilises non-profiled high pressure laminates or new age veneers all of which are readily available in oz. The preventative for most is the cost as within oz these are all rated as premium finishes ex suppliers and are costed accordingly. In addition there is almost always a large component of stainless steel involved in this style of kitchen which is also costly in oz. When the cut price (poor quality) and flat pak (usually asian imports) markets create a public perception that the average kitchen can be had for $4-8K when the truth is more like $11-15K for cabinets only then it is only natural most will baulk at the prospect of $20-25K for euro.
