Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 28, 2012 9:10 am Hello all We got a quote back for our new kitchen in our house we are building. It was ok, but we are just tryng to cut costs where we can, as you all know when you build, you start going over budget really quickly. I've been quoted multitech small drawers - $68 each multitech large drawers - $88 each innotech small drawers - $117 each innotech large drawers - $157 each i found some really good prices for innotech here http://www.attiwillsonline.com.au/Hardw ... ch//pl.php how does it work, do drawers come with soft close sliders already, or do you install sliders THAN install whatever draw you want? (my quote includes soft close drawers) could i just get them to install sliders, than I can buy the drawers separately and put them together myself? is it hard? Looking at about 15 drawers, so the saving would be about possibly 1 k, which would help elsewhere immensely. cheers! Re: how hard is it to install drawers and how does it work? 2Apr 28, 2012 4:42 pm Remember that the prices you have been quoted are for a full drawer supplied and installed. The kits come with all the hardware but no drawer bottom, back or front. You then have to cut these pieces and then fit it all up. Not hard if you know what your doing but would be a challange for the DIY. Not impossible though. Yes unfortunately. Its done this way so you can fit them to anysize cabinet you want.
